Melbourne Museum, the Immigration Museum and Scienceworks are the major institutions that together form Museum Victoria. All three were planned and developed during the period that Graham Morris was CEO of Museum Victoria.
Melbourne Museum is the largest museum complex in the Southern
Hemisphere. It includes a number of innovative facilities, including a huge
living forest gallery, an Aboriginal cultural centre - Bunjilaka, a children’s
museum, and an IMAX theatre complex. The design was developed by the
renowned architects, Denton Corker Marshall, the Forest Gallery was
designed by landscape architects Taylor Cullity Lethlean, and exhibitions
developed by a wide range of leading designers. The adjacent world-heritage
listed Royal Exhibition Building is also part of this great museum.
